When a massive Chinese factory complex attempts a high-stakes expansion in rural Ethiopia, three women in search of prosperity have their faith in industrialisation tested to the limit.
Join us for a screening of award-winning documentary ‘Made in Ethiopia’, exploring the realities of China’s foreign direct investments in Ethiopia through the eyes of a Chinese investor and local communities.
Co-organised by the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½Ó°ÊÓ Business School and the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), this free screening will be followed by an expert panel discussion exploring the issues and implications raised.
