We're aware of the on-going issue affecting Panopto recordings in campus lecture rooms, where the microphone/audio device isn't automatically set, resulting in no audio on recordings.
We apologise for the inconvenience and are working on a permanent solution.
In the meantime, here's a quick fix:
1. Launch Panopto from Canvas: choose the "Panopto for Windows" option.
2. Check audio settings: ensure an audio device is selected before starting your recording.

In addition to the above, over the weekend and the following week we will also be ensuring a hard copy of the Panopto audio fix instructions is placed in general teaching spaces.
