Please be aware of our advice on upgrading University provided Apple Mac equipment:
As with previous major releases, IT Services request you do not upgrade your University provided Apple Mac desktop or notebook to Big Sur until we have concluded our testing to ensure compatibility with our systems. We anticipate being able to publish further information on upgrading your equipment to Big Sur soon after its release but only after we are comfortable with the interoperability with key services required for remote working and blended teaching.
If you have a project or external partners who require your device(s) to be upgraded to this release sooner, please contact our IT Service Desk.
