Microsoft Teams on all staff computers, 30 October 2020

Microsoft Teams has become a vital collaboration and communication tool at the University this year, with many staff using it as part of their daily work.
Teams integrates with our other Microsoft products, it provides great collaboration tools for working on shared documents, and new updates are coming out all the time (most recent: breakout rooms and ).
On Friday, Teams will be installed on all staff PCs on campus, to ensure that it’s available if you want to use it.
If you prefer not to use Microsoft Teams, you can disable the app on your PC by opening Teams then clicking on your portrait icon in the top right, going to Settings and unticking the box for “Auto-start application”.
