When attempting to print a web page from my web browser, text on the right hand side of the page is missing. How can I print the whole web page?

There are three ways you can work around this behaviour.  You can either reduce the page margins, or reduce the scale, or print the page in landscape mode to increase the printable area.  The following suggestions are based on Internet Explorer or Firefox.

Reducing the page margins

  1. From your browser's File menu, click Page Setup....
  2. Under Margins, type 0 in both the Left and Right boxes:

    Internet Explorer:

    Firefox:

  3. Click OK
  4. Print the page again

Reducing the scale

  1. From your browser's File menu, select Print Preview....
  2. In Internet Explorer, click the arrow next to Shrink To Fit and then click on a scale percentage.  Repeat until the right hand page content is no longer cropped:

In Firefox, click the arrow against the Scale value and then click on a scale percentage.  Repeat until the right hand page content is no longer cropped:

Printing in landscape mode

  1. On the File menu, click Page Setup....
  2. Click to select the Landscape option:

    Internet Explorer:

    Firefox:

  3. Click OK.
  4. Print the page again
