Why can't I use one of the free PCs in a room which is booked for a class? There are only a few students being taught in the room, and there are many PCs not being used.

IT Services is not involved in the booking of computer rooms during term-time for classes, that is done by Room Bookings.

They say that timetablers always endeavour to match room capacities (whether computer or other rooms) to advised class sizes and if possible to use rooms in or near to the School making the booking.

It is up to the lecturer teaching the class to decide whether or not to allow other students into the room while a class is in progress.
