2149I am a line manager and I have a new member of staff starting. How do I get them access to the central database and Cognos?
You need to complete the online form located at sussex.ac.uk/its/help/newstaff
On this form you will be asked to specify the access you require for your new member of staff. This may include the following:
- PC Access - including email access;
- access to the central database;
- access to Cognos;
- access to the Finance system.
In the case of central database and Cognos access you will need to name an existing member of staff on whom to base the access for your new member of staff.
Once the form has been submitted ITS will set up the correct access to the systems. Induction training will be arranged for your new member of staff by the ITS training team.
